1.9969 GED Test Preparation

Description

Two options are available for you to earn your High School Proficiency Certificate this year! Classes will prepare students for both tests.

The HSE Program provides an opportunity for adults, 18 years or older, and who have not completed their high school diploma requirements, to obtain a certificate of equivalency issued by the California State Department of Education. The HSE tests are national tests in the areas of Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Preparation will include building computer skills for electronic testing, completing assignments in all five subject areas, improving writing skills needed for three of the tests, and developing in-depth knowledge through project based learning. Students can register for this class during GED/High School Diploma Registration dates at the Merced office. Check the school calendar.

For more information about testing, practice tests, costs and scheduling a test, visit: GED or HiSET.
