Clinical Medical Assistant

As a  Medical Assistant, you will be trained to help physicians carry out procedures, care for patients, perform basic lab tests and administer medications. The Clinical Medical Assistant works in a physician's office or a clinic setting. The program consists of 160 hours of classroom instruction and a 160-hour clinical externship.  

This program will prepare you to take the national Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Textbooks, Scrubs and Medical Kit sold separately.

 

Deposit to Enroll: $300

Program Fee: $2,995 (includes liability insurance, CPR certification training for the Healthcare Provider, national exam, externship and certificate)

Prerequisites: 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
