Description
This class is designed to prepare the students to take Certified Medical Administrative Assistant Exam. The units will cover but are not limited to scheduling, patient intake, compliance, (HIPAA & OSHA), general office policies and procedures, basic medical terminology, Microsoft Word and Outlook. The class will be held in the classroom setting and online. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required before the certification testing can be complete. Students with school approval may work simultaneously on the high school requirement. Register year round in the Merced Adult School office between, 8:00am-8:00pm M-Th and 8:00am-3:00pm F.
